Lucknow, Aug 28 (PTI) Ahead of Assembly polls in UttarPradesh due early next year, state BJP will launch a 10-daylong ‘new voters registration programme’ starting September 1with an aim to add new electorates in the voters’ list. "As per the data of the Election Commission, 70 lakhyouths did not have voter cards till January 1. The party willlaunch a 10-day programme for their registration," BJP statepresident Keshav Prasad Maurya said after a meeting of partyoffice-bearers. He said that to highlight the achievements of NarendraModi’s government and "failures" of SP regime, four’parivartan yatras’ will be taken out covering all 403Assembly constituencies in the state. Maurya said the party would also organise youth and women’sammelans’ to "expose" the state government’s "failure inproviding jobs to youths and security to women."
