Gurgaon, Aug 31 (PTI) Traffic in the city again came to astandstill today due to waterlogging following two hours ofheavy showers today resulting in a five-km long jam onDelhi-Gurgaon Expressway on NH-8 and several other importantintersections. Hero Honda Chowk, Sohna Road, Manesar, Udyog Vihar, OldGurgaon Road and Rajeev Chowk witnessed waterlogging andchoked traffic movement after heavy rainfall from 8:30 am to10:30 am, officials said. "Gurgaon recorded 3 mm rains. Najafgarh drain wasoverflowing. Water logging was recorded at Hero Honda chowkresulting in long vehicular pile up at the entire stretch ofNational Highway-8," said TL Satyaprakash, Deputy Commissionerof Gurgaon. "Policemen, senior officials of district administrationand NHAI officials assisted to ease the traffic movement by 11am," he added. "The police have taken control the situation and made thetraffic movement smooth at Hero Honda Chowk.
