5 arrested for kidnapping finance company employee

New Delhi, Sep 9 (PTI) Two businessmen and their threeworkers have been arrested for allegedly kidnapping a financecompany employee to recover the money they had paid to thefirm for getting loan, police said today. The businessmen, Neeraj Verma and Arjun Dhawan, werearrested based on a case registered at Kalkaji police stationin connection with disappearance of Vinod Kumar Kamat whoworked at Success Financial Service, said Mandeep Randhawa,DCP (south east). Police have also arrested Verma’s employees Harshit Aryaand Rahul Vats, and Dhawan’s employee Indrjeet Arya inconnection with the case, he said. The accused told police that they had given large amountsto the proprietor of the finance company, Satish Dhingra,for obtaining loans. But they did not get the loan amounts. On September 5, the accused reached the office of thefinance company in Kalkaji to take back their money fromDhingra. But, Dhingra was not present so they kidnapped Vinodand confined him in Verma’s factory in Greater Noida fromwhere he was recovered yesterday, he said. PTI VITSMN
