Couple killed in road mishap

Karimnagar (Telangana), Sep 21 (PTI) A newly marriedcouple was killed after a lorry hit their two-wheeler on avillage outskirt in the district, police said today. The accident took place last night on Chalgal villageoutskirts, nearly 60 kms from here, when a lorry driven in arash manner hit the motorcycle, DSP, Jagtial mandal, RajendraPrasad said. According to the officer, the deceased – NagapuriNaresh (25) and Manga (22), had tied nuptial knot last monthand were travelling to Narsingapur village in the district. The driver of the lorry was arrested and was alsoproduced before a local court, which has sent him to judicialremand. Further investigations were on, he added. PTI CORARS
