The cold waves have intensified in the North. In Himachal Pradesh, Shimla turns white, witnesses heavy snowfall. Many roads are blocked, electricity supply is also hampered in most of the areas.

In the national capital, 70 trains were delayed (arriving late in Delhi area), 16 were rescheduled and 7 cancelled due to fog operational reasons.
Two International flights and four domestic flights were delayed at Delhi’s IGI Airport, one was cancelled due to weather conditions.
