After breaking up with Sidharth Malhotra, rumours were rife that Alia and Ranbir Kapoor are getting closer while shooting for their upcoming film Brahmastra, but it looks like a new romantic development is taking place in her life.
However, according to a report in Mid-Day, Alia has moved on, but not to Ranbir. The new man in Alia’s life is the founder of Hike Messenger, Kavin Mittal.
Kavin is the son of telecom tycoon Sunil Mittal, who is the founder and chairman of Airtel. The two first met during the World Economic Forum held in October 2017 and got along like a house on fire.
A source is quoted as telling the publication, “They want to take time to let their friendship evolve. Given their commitments, they see little of each other. But it’s certainly a friendship that can go a long way. They don’t want to make a public statement yet.”
On the work front, Alia is currently shooting for Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy, in which she will be paired opposite Ranveer Singh.
