Fire in restaurant near Hamilton Court in Gurugram

Date:

Gurugram: A fire broke out in Gurugram’s Makeshift restaurant near Hamilton Court Condominium and the Shriram School in DLF Phase 4. At least three fire tenders rushed at the spot to control the fire.

The alert guards from the Condominium and gardener’s helped in dousing the fire and the fire tenders also arrived soon. But the illegal Shanties close to the vicinity of a school and a condominium pose a fire risk with no firefighting equipment.

Meanwhile, no casualties have been reported so far.

A resident told NewsMobile that “three fire brigades rushed in quite promptly – need to be appreciated for their timely arrival too. The new At Cost Mandi (bamboo sheds in the picture below) – just escaped getting engulfed in the fast-spreading fire.

“Black clouds were billowing as high as the 21st floor of the RP-2 building. Smelling of rubber and plastic getting burnt,” the resident added.
