The scorching heat in Delhi NCR continued till Thursday with the temperature recorded at 41.6 degree Celsius in Delhi and 43 degree Celsius around Gurugram.
The met department has forecast light rain in Delhi NCR towards the evening or late night. The met officials stated that rain is likely to majorly affect the eastern side of NCR including Ghaziabad, Noida, and parts of East Delhi with a slight drizzle in other parts of the city. Friday morning is expected to remain cloudy and a slight decrease in the temperature is also predicted.
The meteorological department has also predicted that temperatures in April, May, June, and July this year are to be above normal.
