In the busy festive season brace for jams on Delhi-Gurugram stretch

Brace for traffic logjams if you are heading from Delhi to Gurugram as one of the main arterial roads from Delhi to Gurugram will remain shut over this weekend. The Delhi Traffic Police has tried to come up with a contingency plan to avoid traffic build-ups, but the vehicular traffic is all set to peak given that the Diwali just a fortnight away.

On Friday the Traffic police tweeted the diversion plan in place at Dhaula Kuan.

The slip road of Ring Road leading towards Gurugram/Airport shall remain closed for traffic movement for five days with effect from 26th October to 30th October from 1:00 am to 4:30 am due to traffic construction activities at Dhaula Kuan Metro Station.

Things To Keep In Mind: 

  • Vehicles coming from Bhikaji Cama Place and going towards Gurugram/Airport should take left turn from Moti Bagh towards Rao Tula Ram Marg
  • Vehicles plying on Ring Road from Naraina to Gurugram/Airport may either take U-turn from Brar Square and pass through Thimayya Marg for further journey or:(A) Take right turn from Hanuman mandir Temple near Air Force Station for Dwarka(B)Take left turn on NH-8 for Gurugram (C) Vehicles coming from Naraina towards Moti Bagh may take right turn on Rao Tula Ram Marg for Gurugram/Airport.
  • Vehicles coming from Vande Matram Marg for Gurugram/Airport : Take left turn from Dhaula Kuan Flyover and go under Moti Bagh Flyover and take RTR (Rao Tula Ram Marg).
