After 15 police personnel and a driver from Gadchiroli C-60 force got martyred in a cowardly attack by Naxals on May 1, some pictures started surfacing on the internet.
The claims were made that the pictures are of the attack that happened in Gadchiroli, Maharashtra.

FACT CHECK
When our fact check team checked the pictures, we found that old pictures are being re-circulated along with the pictures of the Gadchiroli Naxal attack.

On putting the pictures from tweet #1 through Reverse Image Search, we found a picture by ANI. The picture is from Sukma Naxal attack in Chattisgarh which took place in March 2018, and 9 soldiers lost their lives in the attack.

The third picture is a picture by PTI. The picture was taken after another Naxal attack in Sukma in November, 2018.

While the fourth picture in the last post is also from ANI which was taken on April 9, 2019 after BJP MLA Bhima Mandavi and four security personnel were killed as their convoy was attacked by Naxalites in Chhattisgarh’s Dantewada district
The above information proves that pictures from three different Naxal attacks are being shared along with the picture of the Gadchiroli attack.
