A post having a link to an Android app is being widely shared on social media with a claim that it will help users get a loan from the Centre based on Pradhan Mantri Loan Yojana. The post also claims that the loan will be passed in 48 hours and a registration charge of Rs 999 will be applicable.
The post reads, “लोन योजना संपूर्ण भारत में मात्र 24 से 48 घंटे में होगा लोन आपकी अकाउंट मैं तुरंत करें अप्लाई छोटे से बड़ा बिजनेस लोन पर्सनल लोन होम लोन सभी प्रकार के लोन तुरंत अप्लाई करें रजिस्ट्रेशन ₹999 से शुरू कीजिए 10% सब्सिडी के साथ जल्दी कीजिए लास्ट डेट 28/03/2023 लोन प्रोसीजर 24 से 72 घंटा Online aavedan kijiye 24 से 48 घंटे में आपके अकाउंट में लोन” (English translation, “Loan scheme will be available all over India in just 24 to 48 hours, apply immediately for Small to Big Business Loan Personal Loan Home Loan Apply all types of loans immediately Registration Start from ₹ 999 Hurry up with 10% subsidy 28/03/2023 Loan Process 24 to 72 hours.”)

NewsMobile did a fact-check and found the claim to be fake.
We clicked on the link mentioned in the post and found that it took users to the Google Playstore. The link mentioned that the app was developed by Aim2Excel.
We however could not find any link between Aim2Excel and the Government of India. Also, a user mentioned that after submitting the registration fees, there was no response App.
We also found that PIB Fact Check had earlier tweeted and said that the Government of India does not have any scheme named Pradhan Mantri Loan Yojana. The Tweet read, “केंद्र सरकार की “प्रधानमंत्री लोन योजना’ के तहत सभी आवेदन कर्ताओं को 2,00,000रु की राशि दे रही है | #PIBFactcheck: यह दावा झूठा है | केंद्र सरकार की “प्रधानमंत्री लोन योजना” नामक कोई योजना नहीं है |”
