FACT CHECK

NewsMobile fact-checked the viral picture, and found the claim to be false.

Running a Reverse Image Search, we identified a Tweet on an unverified page. The picture, published by the page on April 22, 2022, matches with the viral image and the description informs that it shows high-speed trains waiting to be maintained in central China’s Hubei province.

The description also links with an image, titled: CHINA-WUHAN-HIGH-SPEED TRAIN-SPRING FESTIVAL-PREPARATION (CN), published by Getty Images, dated February 1, 2018. Here too, the image matches with the viral picture, and the title confirms that it is from Wuhan in China.

Also, a YouTube video, titled: Aerial view of largest high-speed train maintenance base in central China, published on September 29, 2017, on the official channel of New China TV a Chinese state-sponsored media house. The video shows an aerial view of the largest high-speed train maintenance base in Wuhan, Central China.

Therefore, we can conclusively say that the viral picture, claiming multiple bullet trains parked in a depot in Gujarat, is false.
