FACT CHECK

NewsMobile fact-checked the post, and found it to be old.

Multiple media reports have carried similar visuals. According to reports, the video shows demolition of the illegally constructed 32-storey Supertech twin towers in Noida

Visuals of the demolition were shared by other media outlets like NDTV, India Today and The Economic Times on August 28, 2022.

The twin towers in Noida were brought down in August 2022. In 2021, the Supreme Court of India had ordered the demolition of the Noida Twin Towers. A Mumbai-based firm, Edifice Engineering, used a technique called implosion and used around 3,700 kilograms of explosives to carry out the task.

Hence, it is clear that the viral video is from India and is not related to the recent earthquake in Turkey and Syria.
