New Delhi: External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar slammed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his comments against the government on China’s aggression, saying that it is not the Congress leader but Prime Minister Narendra Modi who sent the Army to the LAC as a countermeasure.
EAM S Jaishankar during an interaction with the newswire agency ANI shared his views on a range of issues and topics.

- He said “I didn’t make the transition, it happened. Once I entered, in all honesty, I myself was unsure.”
- He further added that “From joining politics to becoming a Cabinet member and standing for Rajya Sabha, it happened one by one. There’s a learning curve to it.”
- Talking about ‘Operation Dost’, he said “The earthquake happened and in a very short time, he (PM Modi) wanted to know our thoughts. Within a few minutes, we were told to go. In less than 48 hours (teams were sent to Turkey)”.
