Performing a Reverse Image Search with relevant keywords, we identified the official Facebook page of ixigo carrying the same viral video, dated March 30, 2023, with a caption: “Introducing ixigo bhAI: Now travel with the power of AI in your ear! Book now: ixigobhAI.com.”
But, the company’s official Twitter handle has carried a post related to the viral video with Happy April Fools’ Week GIF. The post uploaded on April 3, 2023, reads: “Maaf kar dena bhAI But we’re thrilled that you loved ixigo bhAI & joined in on all the fun A special discount code is on the way for everyone who signed up! #happyaprilfoolsweek.”

The co-founder, managing director, and group CEO of Ixigo, Aloke Bajpai, further clarified on Twitter that the product video was an April Fool’s prank.
