New Delhi: In recent tweets, Elon Musk directly challenged his competitor and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg to a showdown. Through a series of tweets, Musk declared his preparations for the impending clash, going so far as to announce plans for a live-streamed broadcast of the highly anticipated face-off on his microblogging platform X.
“Zuck v Musk fight will be live-streamed on . All proceeds will go to charity for veterans,” Musk tweeted.

Musk in a tweet had challenged the Meta CEO for a “Cage Fight.”
“I have a proposal for Mr. Zuckerberg… Winner of our fight gets ownership of the other persons social media platform for 24 HOURS. You win, you get Twitter. I win, I get Meta. Let me know. Best, Elon “your wife drives a Tesla” Musk,” Musk tweeted challenging Meta CEO.
To which Meta CEO responded saying, “send me the location.”
The tension between both heightened following the launch of the “Threads” app by Meta CEO.
Since Musk paid USD 44 billion to buy Twitter, the social network has faced competition from an increasing number of smaller microblogging sites, including the decentralised social network Mastodon and Bluesky, a rival supported by former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey. However, Twitter has not indicated that it will file a lawsuit.
Following Musk’s acquisition of Twitter in October, the company underwent a significant transformation by rebranding itself as X Corp. This name change was in alignment with Musk’s ambitious goal of developing a “super app” akin to China’s WeChat, as reported by the New York Post.
