Going through the post carefully, our team noticed @boltaindustan written at the bottom of the post. Searching further, we identified a tweet, dated September 17, 2023. The picture and the quote on the tweet match with the viral post except the name of Sonia Gandhi. Here we can see that Kharge mentioned Mahatma Gandhi in his comment.
Conducting a Google Keyword Search to know more about Kharge’s comment, our team traced an article from ABP news, titled: CWC Meet: मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे बोले, ‘2024 में बीजेपी को सत्ता से बाहर करना महात्मा गांधी को होगी सबसे उचित श्रद्धांजलि’ (English translation: CWC Meet: Mallikarjun Kharge said: “The most appropriate tribute to Mahatma Gandhi would be to oust BJP from power in 2024”). Kharge mentioned Mahatma Gandhi in his comment during the second day of the Central Working Committee meeting of Congress on September 17, 2023.
