The guilty pleasure of every Bollywood buff is back. Yes, the brand new season of Koffee With Karan is here and the first episode of the season made everyone go aww as it featured the unseen video of the dreamy wedding of the Bollywood power couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh.
The show over the years has stayed true to its concept- providing the inside deets from the lives of our favourite celebrities.
Bollywood’s ‘it’ couple for the first time came together for a chat show or interview post their wedding back in 2018.
The couple in the past has appeared on the show but always separately.
But, one thing which made this episode all the more special is the screening of the wedding video of the two stars. All of us know, what an intimate wedding it was, planned in such a hush-hush, away from all the limelights and gazing eyes of the paps. But now almost 5 years later, all the ‘Deepveer’ fans are thanking their stars as they got to witness the highlights of their favourite couple’s wedding.
The video started with Ranveer Singh in complete disbelief that he is marrying the ‘Deepika Padukone’. Later in the video, ace badminton player and Deepika’s father, Prakash Padukone can be heard welcoming Ranveer into his ‘boring’ family. The video also has glimpses of their mehendi ceremony where the two can be seen stealing a very cute moment. It features glimpses of the different ceremonies and their two different wedding, one- the traditional South Indian wedding and then he Sindhi wedding. Much later in the video, Ranveer can be seen waiting at the door right before their Sindhi wedding to just catch a glimpse of Deepika.
Well it’s safe to say, that this video should have come up with a warning, because it is filled with several ‘aww’ moments which might make you teary as well. As post, the screening of the video even the host of the show Karan Johar was seen all emotional.

Deepika and Ranveer tied the knot in 2018. It clearly was a dreamy ceremony, as the two had an intimate destination wedding in Italy’s Lake Como. Which was later followed by two big receptions in Bengaluru and Mumbai.
