Actors Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram have confirmed their wedding rumours. The couple announced that they’re indeed tying the knot this month in Imphal, Manipur, followed by a wedding reception in Mumbai.
Randeep and Lin took to their Instagram handles and shared a joint statement on Saturday that read, “Drawing inspiration from the Mahabharata, where Arjun wed Manipuri Warrior Princess Chitrangada, we are delighted to announce our marriage with the blessings of our families and friends. Our wedding is set for the 29th of November 2023 in Imphal, Manipur, followed by a reception in Mumbai. As we embark on this journey, we seek your blessings and love for this union of cultures, for which we are forever indebted and grateful. In love and light, Lin and Randeep.”
Captioning the post, the couple simply wrote, “We Have Exciting News.” Colleagues and friends from the industry, such as Darshan Kumaar and Aahana Kumra, extended their congratulations and best wishes through heartfelt comments on the post.

According to the reports, Randeep and Lin are planning a wedding with a mythological theme, inspired by the Mahabharata connection. The report quoted a source stating, “Randeep is a private person, and he doesn’t want the media attention for the wedding. And that is one of the reasons he is going to Manipur to get married. Another big reason is because he wants to start the new chapter of his life at a place from where his lady love is.”
On the professional front, Randeep Hooda is set to feature in the film “Swatantra Veer Savarkar,” a biopic of freedom fighter Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, commonly known as Veer Savarkar. The film, directed and co-written by Randeep Hooda with Utkarsh Naithani, is produced by Anand Pandit Motion Pictures and Randeep Hooda Films in collaboration with Legend Studios and Avak Films.
Lin, who made her Bollywood debut in 2007 with “Om Shanti Om,” has appeared in various films, including “Mary Kom” (2014), “Umrika” (2015), “Rangoon” (2017), “Qaidi Band” (2017), and “Axone” (2019).
