With a keyword search, we found that Kennedy Junior was killed in a plane crash in 1999, aged 36.
Performing a Reverse Image Search, we found the original image on Getty Images, dated May 19, 1989, with a caption: “Twenty-eight-year-old John F. Kennedy Jr. poses in his gown at graduation exercises for the New York University Law School. He went on to take the bar exam, and after passing on the third try, worked for the next four years as a prosecutor for a Manhattan district attorney”.
Thus, it is evident from the above information that the viral image is edited.
