FACT CHECK
NewsMobile did a fact-check and found the claim to be fake.
On breaking the video into several keyframes and doing the Google Reverse Image Search with one of them, we found a screenshot of the video that was uploaded by Dainik Jagran on February 19, 2022, with the title that reads, “UP Election 2022: योगी सरकार पर बरस रहे थे स्वामी प्रसाद मौर्य, मंच पर ही भिड़ गए समर्थक.” (English translation: UP Election 2022: Swami Prasad Maurya was speaking against the Yogi government when his supporters started a scuffle amongst themselves.)
The report suggested that after the speech of Swami Prasad Maurya, the star campaigner, a scuffle took place between the Chairman of Nagar panchayat, Ahsan Aziz Khan, and former minister Insram Ali at Malihabad in Lucknow.
Nav Bharat Times also reported about the incident on February 20, 2022.
The video was also shared by verified YouTube channel, NMF News on February 21, 2022. The video was shared with a title that reads, “बरस रहे थे Yogi सरकार पर, अपने ही समर्थकों को आपस में भिड़ा बैठे Swami Prasad Maurya!” (English translation: Swami Prasad Maurya was speaking against Yogi government when a fight erupted among his own supporters.)
Hence, the report clearly states that the video is of a fight between his own supporters but it is widely being shared as people beat up Swami Prasad Maurya.
