A techie was charged rs 5325 for 6 kms in Bangalore. Praveen BS, a techie who hails from Mysore, booked an Uber cab from City railway station to Satelite Bus stop on Wednesday. After reaching the destination, Uber driver lciked the end trip button. The bill showed humongous amount Rs 5325. The Driver then told Praveen that the amount is 103 for the trip while the rest of the amount is his outstanding payment.

Praveen was left shocked as he claims he used the Uber app twice acording to the reports. The driver refused Praveen to unboard the cab without payment. The matter was dragged till the police station where the matter was finally solved.

After this whole dramatic episode, finally the Uber official said “This was a technical error that was corrected, and we regret the frustration and inconvenience caused to the rider. We are committed to ensuring everyone who uses Uber has a great experience.””According to the reports.
