Valentino Rossi was involved in a racing accident on May 25th, 2017 Cross Club Cavallara in Mondavio where he was taken to the local hospital and diagnosed with mild thoracic and abdominal trauma. It was a huge disappointment for all Moto GP aficionados to see their favorite star possibly ruling out from the next game due to injuries.

The good news for Rossi fans is that he has been declared fit to perform at his home circuit Mugello this weekend. The nine-time champion, Italian rider went under check ups at Autodromo del Mugello. FIM Medical Director, MotoGP Medical Director, and the Chief Medical Officer of the Mugello Circuit found him suitable for the race.
The 38-year-old will start the race from the third spot 23-points behind Movistar Yamaha team. He lost his top spot after the crash in the French GP.
