Hyderabad: In a shocking incident, a Swiggy food delivery agent died after he fell off the first floor of a building after being allegedly attacked by a pet dog.
The delivery agent identified as Mohammad Rizwan, 23, was delivering an order in the Rock Castle apartment situated in Banjara Hills where the incident took place.
According to media reports, the dog chased him as soon as he knocked on the door of the customer. Trying to escape the dog, the scared delivery agent fell off the first floor of the building.
Rizwan was rushed to a nearby Nizam’s Institute of Medical Science after the incident where he succumbed to his injuries.
The police have filed an FIR on the complaint of the family of the victim against the owner of the pet dog under section 289 for negligent conduct concerning animals and 336 for endangering the life or personal safety of others.
