Spain’s Ciudadanos calls talks with conservatives, Socialists

The leader of new Spanish centre-right party Ciudadanos, Albert Rivera, on Wednesday called for talks to form a pact with the conservative Popular Party and the Socialists to enable a stable government following inconclusive elections.

“We want to sit at the negotiating table, explore all possible roads, with the Popular Party, the Socialists and Ciudadanos, to ensure Spain has a government,” he told a news conference.
