New Delhi: Campaigning ends on Tuesday in 117 constituencies entering the sixth phase of the Lok Sabha polls. Spread across 12 states, these constituencies will go to polls on April 24. Among the big names in the fray are Milind Deora, Meera Sanyal, Shahnawaz Hussain, Tariq Anwar, and Mohammad Taslimuddin.
BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi will be holding three rallies in Mumbai and Andhra Pradesh while Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi will be holding rallies in Chhattisgarh and Mathura. UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi will be in Raiganj in West Bengal, where six seats will go to polls on Thursday. DMK chief Karunanidhi will campaign in Chennai while Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan will campaign in Mumbai.
Mumbai, all of Tamil Nadu, and parts of UP will go to polls on Thursday. Other states to go to polls include parts of Bihar(7), West Bengal(6), Chhattisgarh(7), Madhya Pradesh(10), Rajasthan(5), West Bengal(6), Puducherry(1) and Jharkhand (4).
