This short film is a new dimension to India’s independence!

Date:

It seems like a season of short films. Earlier, it was director Sujoy Ghosh’s finest creation in the form of short film ‘Ahalya’ starring the legendary Bengali actor Soumitra Chatterjee and Radhika Apte, now its Vinay Jaiswal’s short film ‘Jai Hind’, starring Manoj Bajpai and Raveena Tandon in the lead role that will definitely blow your mind.

The two national award winners have teamed up after 14 years, since Aks which was released in 2001. This short film will definitely make you wonder, what would have happened if India had not been able to free herself from the dictatorship of the British Empire?

This concept has been brilliantly portrayed in this short film where the actors have made us aware with possibilities we might have suffered.

The movie is shot in the locations of South Mumbai and by the end, it gives you a special message which will definitely make you feel indebted for all the freedom fighters who sacrificed not only their lives but everything just to give us freedom.

After watching this small but inspirational film, you will get a glimpse of how much they might have suffered and what they did so that we couldn’t get to see ‘Indians and dogs not allowed’ sign hung at venues, although should get respect wherever we go.

So, this Independence Day, don’t forget to remember them who gave us so much to thank for. Watch, ‘Jai Ho’ a beautiful creation, especially on the occasion of Independence Day by OYO Rooms!

Have a look!
