CM flags off 200 nes buses

Chennai, Sep 21 (PTI) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister JJayalalithaa today flagged off 200 new buses here meant forstate transport undertakings. Among the 200 buses, totally worth about Rs 45 crore,were three ‘Women’s Special’ services meant for Jayalalithaa’sDr Radhakrishnan Nagar Assembly constituency, an officialrelease said. The ‘Women’s Special’ buses were launched followingrequests from the local people, it said. She also gave away 25 jeeps purchased at a cost of Rs1.46 crores for the Transport Department. PTI SARC
