About a dozen robbers equipped with latest weapons and snipers robbed a vault in Ciudad Del Este, the second largest city of Paraguay. According to few sources, around 40 million dollars were hauled in this robbery.

While the security company denies the claims of 40 million being robbed, locals have already called this heist as the “Robbery of the century”.

Police identified the culprits as Brazilians and one police officer got killed in the incident. Three civilians were injured in a long dramatic robbery which lasted for three hours according to the police officials.

According to the Brazilian officials, around three of the culprits were killed in cross firing near the border while 5 others were arrested later from Itaipulandia which is 50 kms away from the city.

Three borders Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay make the city prone to such activities according to the police.
