Father’s day is coming soon, this 18th June, and it’s always a little difficult to decide what to get your dad. Here are some of the things your father will definitely love to get on Father’s day.
1. Do something different, take your dad on a… Road trip!
It may seem a little unconventional, but there’s nothing like spending quality time with your dad while driving through the countryside. Create an incredible playlist from the ‘80s and jam to the music your dad absolutely loves.
2. Help him update his wardrobe and take him shopping
Again, this helps you spend quality time with your dad on the big day. Take him to the mall and help him out with shopping for some new and trending clothes and shoes. It’s better than buying him something, as you can be with him while you do it.
3. Enrol him for something he’s always wanted to do
Has your dad always wanted to do something— like take a scuba diving class, go for a concert, or take a cooking class? I bet he has. So this father’s day fulfil your dads wish, one which he’s always wanted to do.
4. Get him something trendy… like a Fitbit
Get him something cool and trending, something he can use and always carry with him. A Fitbit is perfect as it’s one of the most useful gadgets which also helps you keep fit. It’s new and happening and he’ll surely love it.
5. Have dinner with him… but instead of going out, cook his favourite dish at home
Every dad has that one dish they absolutely love. Get the recipe from you mom and try and cook it for him. It doesn’t have to be perfect, but the sentiment put into it will definitely make him the happiest father in the world.
6. Get him a liquor box that’s colourful and elegant
Your dad always needs a place to neatly keep his bottles of liquor when guests come over or for storage. Get him an elegant and groovy liquor box something like the one in the picture below. Or if you love art and painting, make one for him yourself!
7. A video montage of the incredible memories you made so far
Pictures, videos, family vacation photos— combine them all and make a video for your dad showcasing all the loving memories you’ve had with him. This will surely bring out how much you truly love him and cherish him.
