Iconic singer Lata Mangeshkar passed away on February 6, 2022, after prolonged hospitalization due to multiple organ failure. Her last rites were performed at Mumbai’s Shivaji Park with full state honours. Many prominent personalities including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, actor Shah Rukh Khan paid their last respects at Shivaji Park.
In this backdrop, a video of Shahrukh Khan has gone viral on social media with a claim that he was seen spitting on the mortal remains of Lata Mangeshkar.
In the video, Shahrukh can be seen offering dua alongside his manager Pooja Dadlani. Later, he removed the facemask for a brief while and then covered his face. Many social media users are sharing that he did this to spit over the mortal remains of Lata Mangeshkar.

Hence, a video of Shahrukh Khan blowing on mortal remains of Lata Mangeshkar as a part of Islamic ritual has gone viral with a fake claim that he was spitting on Lata Mangeshkar.
