Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann married Dr Gurpreet Kaur in a private ceremony at his residence in Chandigarh on Thursday.
The wedding ceremony was attended by the Punjab CM’s mother, sister, relatives, and a few guests only. Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal and his family along with Raghav Chadha, a senior leader of the AAP and a Rajya Sabha member, also were in Chandigarh for the event.

Speaking to reporters in Mohali before traveling to Chandigarh, Delhi CM and AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal stated, “He is embarking on a new journey today, I wish him a happy married life.”

This is Mann’s second marriage. An MBBS degree holder from Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Mullana, Ambala, Kaur is the youngest of three sisters.
