Hyderabad: After registering their maiden win of the season, David Warner-led Delhi Capitals will be eyeing their second win as they clash with hosts Sunrisers Hyderabad on Monday at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.
The clash between the bottom of the points table sides as they take the ground to bounce back for the upcoming matches.
Sunrisers Hyderabad will be looking to end the two-loss sequence and register a crucial win for the home crowd.
SRH continues to battle with the poor form of its top-order batsmen including Rahul Tripathi and Mayank Agarwal. SRH skipper Aiden Markram said, “We have to look in and see how to get better with the bat, one or two guys need to put their hands up with the bat.”
David Warner and the side also faced questions in terms of the opening batting order. However, the side will clash with the hosts with confidence after securing a much-needed win in the last game.
DC all-rounder while speaking about the win added “A win changes the environment in the team. A few doubts creep in when you’re not able to cross the line. Our win in the last match will help us build confidence.”
According to reports, the pitch is likely to favour the batting side as it has been doing in the past matches. However, the winning skipper will likely to elect bowl and later chase the total down.
