India successfully hosted the G20 Summit this year, attended by many world leaders like US President Joe Biden, British PM Rishi Sunak, etc. On September 10, the G20 leaders paid tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat in New Delhi.
Meantime, a video of PM Modi arriving at Rajghat with the heads of state of G-20 has gone viral on social media. It is being claimed that the lyrics in the video are as follows: “Raghupati Raghav Rajaram Patit Pavan Sitaram. Kaushalya ka pyara ram, Dashrath ji ka pyara ram.”
A Facebook user shared this video with a description: “वाह मोदी जी वाह.. “ [English translation: Wow Modi ji, wow, for singing the right hymns to the people of India, and that too, from Rajghat. Thanks from the heart of every Indian. Listen carefully… In this hymn “Ishwar – Allah Tero Naam”, which was Gandhi’s contribution… it was removed and the correct hymn was played… along with all the heads of state…what else do you want?]
