Performing a Reverse Image Search, the NM team spotted an Instagram handle, dated September 4, 2023, carrying the same viral video with a caption: “Real✅ or Fake❌”.
Upon reviewing the comments, we noted that several users pointed out discrepancies in the viral video. They observed that the aircraft featured in the footage did not align with the specifications of Air Force One’s Boeing 747-200B models. Specifically, the users identified a notable distinction — the presence of winglets, and vertical extensions at the outer edges of the wings, which are not characteristic of the original Air Force One models.
After conducting a comparison between the aircraft showcased in the viral video and images of Air Force One available on Boeing’s official website, we confirmed that the aircraft in the video, indeed, featured extra winglets. These winglets were not present in the official images provided by Boeing for Air Force One.
TikTok by the user @iceman_fox1, dated January 25, 2023, carries the same video with a caption: “POV: President Trump returning to the White House shortly after winning the 2024 election.”
The user had included hashtags such as #dcs, #dcsworld, and #videogame, strongly suggesting that the footage originated from the video game DCS World. Additionally, the user’s bio explicitly states that they share “Realistic DCS videos,” providing clear confirmation that the viral video is not authentic but sourced from the simulation game DCS World.
Thus, it is evident from the above information that video game footage is falsely shared as US President Joe Biden returns from the G20 Summit in Air Force One.
