Running a Reverse Image Search of the video keyframes, we found the same visual in an Instagram post, dated May 28, 2023, with a caption: “Citizens celebrated after almost all the ballot boxes were opened in the second round of presidential elections, but carelessness created dangerous moments.”

Our team traced a video report by Reuters showing similar footage with a title: “Fireworks explode during Turkish election celebrations.” According to the report, fireworks exploded in the hands of a Turkish civilian who along with thousands of others was attending a celebration for President Tayyip Erdogan’s re-election on the night of May 28.
A Turkish media outlet, Ensonhaber, reports that people are celebrating in the Turkish city of faith after President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan won the election. During the celebration, a person is seen bursting firecrackers in his hands which accidentally dropped to the ground causing panic among the crowd.
Thus, it is confirmed that the viral video is from Turkey, and NOT related to the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict.
