A video with few images showing a Kali Mata idol being burnt have gone viral on social media. Many users claim that these visuals are from January 22, 2024, when unidentified miscreants attacked Kali Mata temple in Murshidabad district, West Bengal.
A Facebook user posted the viral post with a caption: पश्चिम बंगाल के मुर्शिदाबाद जिले से खबर आ रही है कि 22.01.24 की रात को अज्ञात बदमाशों ने नबग्राम पुलिस स्टेशन के अधिकार क्षेत्र के तहत सिंगार गांव में काली माता मंदिर पर हमला किया। काली माता और भगवान शिव की मूर्तियाँ तोड़ दी गईं। स्थानीय लोगों ने आज सुबह टूटी हुई मूर्ति देखी. वहीं राज्य की मुख्यमंत्री सद्भावना रैली निकाल रही है और मलेछो को कसम दे रही है । मलेछ क्या कभी किसी की सुनते हैं । (English translation: On the night of 22.01.24, in Murshidabad district of West Bengal, unidentified miscreants attacked Kali Mata temple at Singar village under the jurisdiction of Nabagram police station.
