PM Modi Interacts With India’s Top Gamers, Tries His Hand At A Few Games

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently participated in an interactive session with a select group of Indian gamers. In a video, several top Indian gamers can be seen meeting and conversing with the Prime Minister.

Among the gamers present were Animesh Agrawal, Naman Mathur, Mithilesh Patankar, Payal Dhare, Tirth Mehta, Ganesh Gangadhar, and Anshu Bisht. During the interaction, the Prime Minister delved into various aspects of gaming, about the industry’s dynamics and its growing prominence.

The gamers highlighted the evolving landscape of gaming, emphasizing the increasing focus on Indian mythology in game development and the government’s growing acknowledgment of their creative contributions. Prime Minister Modi, in turn, posed questions to the gamers, including inquiries about the perception of gaming as akin to gambling and the potential for gaming addiction.

Moreover, the Prime Minister raised issues such as gender representation in the gaming sector, querying whether more girls should be encouraged to participate in gaming and take an active interest in the field.

Following the discussions, Prime Minister Modi also participated in the gaming experience, trying his hand at various games across different platforms. From VR-based games to mobile and PC/console games.
